Between the Berlin grey and grey you’ll sometimes find some fresh colors. A red bike, a blond girl with an unique style, in front of a wooden door. She opens it and shows you her home, her life, her studio. Britta Arnold is a child of Berlin. Born in 1984, she grew up in times of carination in the eastern part of this (multi)coloured city. She underwent the techno-electronic evolution of the late nineties, to become herself a nasty surpise and a vital element of berlin electronic underground in the early 21st century.
Britta Arnold became one of the most requested Djs and producers from Berlin. Since she co-founded and managed the bar25 label in 2006 everything changed. From Katerholzig over KaterBlau – how the famous Berlin club is called now – she is a legend for her sets and her vivid style of life.
With Philip Bader she found in 2011 a studio partner and since that, she released on imprints like „Dantze“, „Circus Company“, „Heinz Music“ and „Katermukke“. Since a few years her technoid and straight sets capture the worlds stages.
From Fusion to Calvi on Rocks(Corsica), Suma Beach Festival(Istanbul) till Shoeless Open Air in Amsterdam – there is no festival any more without this girl. When the Katermukke showcases take place, you can expect a floating show from her with techno melodies and easy rhythms.
