We don’t really know if the young BRYAN KESSLER listened to Kraftwerk, but then again we didn’t ask – who cares, anyway? What’s certain, however, is that this punk renegade, songwriting wunderkind and all-around exceptional producer is a man of many faces, and all of them rock.
Discovered on stage while spouting anarchist pop slogans and showcasing an impressive underage mohawk haircut, he published poems in younger age. He never was to be a bottled genius sticking to only one gun – and soon set out to become the lead singer and guitarist for neo punk nutters the Pollywogs, while em- barking on an equally public career as profilic DJ and Dance Music producer. It’s his mighty fine electronic swagger an a hearty disrespect for genre norms which already led to powerful solo releases on Get Physical (New York Baby & Dr Kessler which as proudly remixed by the legendary Dj Hell) and Like Records, which ex- citingly raunchy material to follow on colognes fringe rave imprint low hanging fruit which is dis- tributed via Kompakt. While working with friends from comeme he shows up his experimental red line in sound with a skillful easiness. In 2016 he releases his „10.000 Suns EP on Jackmaster’s hyped UK Based Label Numbers. By adding live elements on his DJ-Sets he gets every crowd shaking, let it be in Tel Aviv, Copenhagen, Ber- lin or Ibiza. This marks the earth-shattering first steps of a truly remarkable new voice in a traditionally compacent dance industry – little fishes, beware: There’s a new shark in the pond.’
