From back to back tours of Argentina, to shows across India and a regular rocking of Europe, including Germany, Holland, Greece and of course England (most notably the Bedrock Records Easter Party), Dale Middleton has become one of the chief names emerging from the electronic music scene.
Dales unique blend of melodic house and techno has seen releases on the highest profile labels around such as Sudbeat, Parquet, Plattenbank, SexOnWax and Perspectives. This has transpired to Dale’s music being played all over the world, including Pete Tongs Essential Selection on BBC Radio 1. His tracks receive constant support from some of the biggest names in the industry, such as John Digweed, Sasha, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Guy J, Agoria, Above & Beyond and many more. As an established artist Middleton’s own mixes are in regular demand for guest slots on radio stations such as Frisky, Proton, GWM and Innervisions.
In his early days influenced by the French house scene, Middleton began to develop his own musical taste, playing house parties and events for his friends. However after hearing tracks on labels such as Bedrock and Renaissance, and with DJ’s such as Digweed, Sasha, Cattaneo, Tenaglia and Cox all catching his ear, his musical direction began to develop into what he is known for today. Dale has now formed his own style, instantly recognisable for its strong melodies and enriching bass lines. Whether it’s progressive house, melodic, or driving Detroit techno, Middleton effortlessly blends between genres, not only during DJ sets but also within his productions.
Dale is continually gaining new fans through hosting his monthly show Subsidence Sounds, which is broadcast worldwide on Frisky Radio, this being a fantastic platform to showcase his music to a welcoming crowd of followers.
Now in 2015 with enormous hype from the world’s biggest DJ’s and labels fighting to snap up his latest tracks, Dale is undoubtedly one of the underground stars of Electronic Music.
