Jordi Castillo born in Madrid in 1987. With just 6 years he began to play piano and with 12 he bought his firsts decks. His first contact with the public was in his 16s doing private parties and raves. At 18 he played for first time in a club and later he has been invited to play in many others. Three years later he began to organize techno partys and his own drum n bass parties named Kill the beats in a club named Vinil near to Barcelona. At this time he began to study an “audio ingineering” degree in a highly recognized school in Barcelona that he has just finished in June 2011.
Jordi is now creating his own sound that is between techno and house. He released tracks in great labels, like Definitive, or Starlight, with wich he enter for first time in the top 100 of beatport (the most important portal of electronic music downloads), arriving to the top 35 with the track named Criollo. He has had the oportunity to play in some of the best clubs in Spain, as Florida 135 or Row14, and many others like City Hall (Barcelona), Roxy Blue (Barcelona), River (Lleida), Zoom club (Lloret de mar), Cocoa-Krom (Mataro), imput; the zoo (Sabadell), Vogue (Igualada) and many others. For a long time he had been playing in the Happytechno partys, a dj collective from Barcelona.
