Let’s start the music year 2019 in the most tranquil way possible. The first podcast of the year is brought to us by London duo Fluida (Jake & Graeme). We just can’t get enough of their unique meditative sound often infused with sounds of a live hang drum:

1. – A Single Dewdrop On The Grass
2. Luc Angenehm – Nalani
3. Slotta – Sweet Temptation (Slotta Remix)
4. Fluida – Untitled edit
5. Map.Ache – Salus
6. Fluida – Reflected Within
7. DSF – Thalassa
8. Kettenkarussell – Trust
9. Rampa – Sunday
10. Duckett – Ghosts of African Women

Traversing between headphone listening and euphoric dance floor journeys, Fluida’s music manages to be both club friendly and intimate. The result is a breadth of sound connects deeply with people both in the early evening and at those special moments in the early hours of the morning.

Following several multicoloured ‘Spiral’ releases on Fatboy Slim’s Southern Fried Records, the pair quickly garnered diverse support from DJ’s such as Joris Voorn, Sasha, Roger Sanchez, Matthias Meyer, Lee Burridge, Tiesto, Audiofly, Izhevsky, Kölsch and Pete Tong.

Further releases have come via Anjunadeep, Get Physical, Supernature and Flying Circus, closing 2018 with a blissful EP on Behrouz’s Do Not Sit On The Furniture Recordings. Upcoming releases for 2019 include Kindisch, Sol Selectas and Anjunadeep, as well as a series of vinyl only exclusives on the duo’s own imprint.

Fluida’s unique live/DJ set continues to set them apart, incorporating the steel pan ‘hang drum’ featured on many of their tracks. This live instrument in the DJ booth offers a unique energy and an immediate connection with the audience. The duo recently sold out their first headline show in East London.

The pair regularly share their eclectic tastes through radio slots on Bloop London and Ibiza Sonica. ‘Zenji’ EP lands December 2018 on Do Not Sit On The Furniture Recordings.
